How about this for a puppy fed on Salters Puppy!!! He is my new baby - we bred him - mum on Salters energy - his name is JOKER and in this shot he is 5 1/2 weeks old!! Happy contented puppy!
Another satisfied customer “I would just like to say how pleased I am with the results of your food on my dogs. I bought a beautiful Weimaraner puppy called Luka in 1999. For the first 6 months all went well but when I changed Luka from puppy onto Junior she developed very bad stomach problems with constant diarrhoea and bleeding. At the age of 7 months I was at my wits end as the Vet had just advised me that she had developed serious problems and would have to be on medication for the rest of her life. After trying various brands of premium food I was recommended to Salters. There was almost an instant result. Luka’s diarrhoea and bleeding stopped and she has gone from strength to strength. She is now a 12 ½ year old veteran and still “saltering” on without the need of medication. I also enclose a recent photo of Luka and would love to see her in your Pets Corner website page. Over the past 12 years, I have now successfully fed a further two Weimaraners on Salters and I am currently starting off a new puppy. Anne King, Benall Green, Suffolk”
To: info@salterspetfood.com After chatting to you at the Norfolk All About Dogs show I changed my Whippet from Burns on to Salters High Energy. I was impressed when, having refused all the Burns in her bowl and eating the Salters that I was trying to introduce gradually, she did not suffer any ill effects from such a sudden change! She is half way through a 15kg bag and is doing very well. It seems that she is a dog that will self regulate the amount she eats. This means that she will probably never be well covered! The vet commented on her muscles whan she went in for a check up. She is a very active dog. We walk for at least an hour every day. She takes part in Agility training, Rally Obedience and Whippet Racing. I am a qualified Pet Behaviour Therapist and was particularly pleased to note that she has not become excitable on the Canine Energy. I am going to switch my 12 year old Lurcher on to Salters Veteran as soon as she finishes her current bag of Burns. I will let you know how it goes. I already know she will eat it as she steals Willow's whenever she can! Yours truly Pat Price Dip CABT Reproduced with with kind permission of Farm n Equine Magazine. FARM ‘N’ EQUINE MAGAZINE MAY 2011 www.farmnequine.co.uk We tested Salters Dog Food for one month on two working sheepdogs in full work/training daily.
Very good appearance and good to clean. This does what it says on the bag; our older working Border Collie (8 and a half years
old) has done well on the ‘Canine Maintenance’, is showing good
energy without any weight gain and he is looking very well on it.
I tested Salters Canine
Energy on Patches, my 10 month old Border Collie for two
months, feeding it twice daily.
Comes in a 15kg sack delivered to your door. Conventional dried
biscuit form but unlike most other products, is genuinely
wholesome and made up of human grade ingredients. Smells
good and looks appetising. Main ingredients are chicken, rice and
olive oil – you could at a push eat it yourself. Even my
exceptionally fussy dog ate this with enthusiasm - he looks
fantastic with a superb coat and lots of energy without
excitability. This range of dog food is made by a family firm
passionate about the quality of the ingredients they use. It might
not seem to be the cheapest but in
terms of value for money and knowing
you aren't feeding ‘reclaimed’ material it
is worth every penny. |

Dear Stephen, I cannot thank you enough for bringing a superb range of dog food to the marketplace, our Golden Retriever Millie has been having Salters food for a while now and all I can say is “WHY DID I NOT USE IT BEFORE”! The main reason I contact you today though Stephen, is that Millie has just become a mummy to six gorgeous puppies, our local pet store recommended that we change Millie’s usual Salters food and give her Salters puppy food whilst she is carrying the puppies, what excellent advice this was as we now have the most chunky puppies with superb muscles, their coats are gorgeous and our Breeder stated that he hasn’t seen such huge healthy puppies in a long time – This is all down to SALTERS, NEVER AGAIN will I purchase any other food for my dogs. Puppies tend to not walk properly until 3 weeks old, our little ones have started walking at just one and a half weeks, this is obviously because their muscles are so well formed already! I have included a photo for you, this is a photo taken at 8 days old – LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THEM! Please feel free to show it to your customers. My last words to you are “keep up the GREAT work”, I shall be giving the new owner of my puppies some Salters puppy food and highly recommending that they stick to this for the entire life of the dog, with results like I have had, everyone should change to Salters :o) :o) :o) With huge thanks and kindest regards |

Hi there I just wanted to drop you an email as we’ve just started using Salters Senior for our 2 greyhounds, Roo and Joe. We’ve had them for nearly 4 years and they’re retired greyhounds that we adopted from a rescue centre. Since we brought them home we’ve fed them on ****** until we spoke to our vets about concerns we had for their teeth – a problem that most greyhounds have. We were disgusted to find out that ****** dip their food in caramel to make it more appealing to the dog – no thought for their well being, digestive system or potential for developing diabetes!! Our vets recommended you and also gave us a free taster pack for the dogs to try. It was gone in seconds!! Since starting the guys on Salters about 2 months ago, they now have beautiful silky coats and sparkly eyes and have discovered that they had even more energy within them!!! Their digestive system is responding so positively to the Salters – not to be too graphic, but their poop used to be quite runny, but now it’s all solid and they are pooping less. Their teeth do not smell quite so bad, although I fear the damage may have already been done. Now when it comes to dinner time, they stand waiting at the kitchen door, ears pricked up, tails up with big grins – sometimes they even get so excited they jump up (whereas before they could take it or leave it, and they hardly ever finished the bowl). Every night we now have clean bowls and I’m positive they’d eat more if we gave it to them! We used to give them the ****** with gravy and dog meat, but now with the Salters we may give them a little gravy but no meat and they love it – they’ll even eat it on its own! I wanted to say thank you to you for caring about what you put into your dog food. Although we cannot make up for the years we mis-fed our boys with ******, it’s good to know that what we’re feeding them is right for them and we can do so with a clear conscience. We have told all our friends and family about this transformation and equate it to spending 4 years eating ******(*rap) and now eating gourmet food (Salters). It’s also good to know that you’re a local company supplying to local veterinary practices, and we’re so grateful they recommended you. Please pass on our thanks to all at Salters – and keep up the good work!! !Thanks from -----,--- |

---- Original Message ----- From: Adriana To: info@salterspetfood.com Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 2009 10:35 PM Subject: Testimonial It has been approx 6 weeks since I first spoke to you for advice about the benefits of feeding Salters to my dogs.
As you know I currently have three dogs, we pick up our new pup at the end of January. I have been unlucky with allergic conditions, as my just turned two years old Labradoodle has over the last few months developed a stomach disorder. It really was a severe problem, she had such loose bowels that she basically passed water. When she had a stomach upset she would need to go out every couple of hours, day and night. Her stools were seldom if ever solid and often had a slimy mucus coating. As well as the stomach upsets she also use to scratch alot. She had many tests done and there were no signs of infection, worms etc and so it was decided that she had allergies. I had intended to just change my Yorkie's diet as my Labradoodle seemed to be very intolerant of chicken and as this is in all Salter's food I decided it would not be wise. However after speaking to you I changed my mind and thought I'd try all my dogs on Salter's maintenance. I gradually introduced the new diet to my girls and am absolutely delighted with the results so far. All the dogs took to it with ease and love it. My Labradoodle has always been a fussy eater and Salter's is the only dry complete dog food she will eat without something like meat added to it, all I do is add a little warm water and she eats the lot! I really wish I had known about your food when she was a puppy as she was very under weight and I struggled to get her to eat. Since she's been on the new diet she has only had slightly loose bowels once (before it was nearly every day and every 10 days she would have a severe stomach upset). It has now been three weeks since she has had any upset at all, her stools are for the first time in her life totally normal!! Although she cannot eat any other dog food with chicken in it, she is doing great on Salter's and I have also noticed she hardly ever scratches now. I am now slowly weaning her off the pro fibre dietary supplement the vet put her on and so far so good. The other improvement I am so pleased to notice is that already my Yorkie seems less itchy. All my dogs are doing great on your food and I am really pleased Kind regards Adriana Betta Aquatics |
